Whole Foods Market
Custom commercial window tinting for Whole Foods in Cary, NC
Many of the local Cary residents are familiar with the Waverly Place and Whole Foods remodel. The major renovation of Whole Foods was completed in March of 2014, and the end result is amazing. The beautiful new store still has many of it’s former amenities (Holy Salad Bar!) and is even more enjoyable with expanded cafe seating, bigger baking area and brand new ovens. Don’t miss the new Gelato bar, it’s only amazing.
As one of the largest grocery store chains focusing on practicing and advancing their environmental stewardship, Whole Foods Cary employed Tinted Atmospheres to complete the window tinting of the entire commercial store front. This was a 1,200 square foot job that took roughly three days to complete after the retail store’s grand opening. We were able to install the film during business hours with little difference to the patrons enjoying their lunch in the cafe.
The goal in tinting the commercial building was heat and glare reduction as well as energy efficiency. We were able to accomplish all their goals with LLumar’s Dual Reflective Series Film in a 25% darkness. This film reduces 65% of solar heat and 76% glare reduction. Is is estimated that this film will save 3.32% on annual energy costs, an anticipated $4,277.00 annually. Whole Foods, Cary will see a return on their window tinting investment in roughly 3.65 years and have reduced their annual carbon emission approximately 18,000 kg!
